Abstract

The application of geospatial technology in disaster management has emerged as a critical domain, offering unparalleled insights and capabilities across all phases of the disaster management cycle. This paper provides a comprehensive exploration of the multifaceted role of geospatial technology in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. Drawing upon a wide range of literature, case studies, and examples, this paper elucidates the significance of integrating geospatial data, remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and other spatial technologies into disaster management strategies.
